I’ve gone through the ordering process, with a gift code, myself and the process was painless.

Something to keep in mind when using the gift codes is it is not like adding items to a cart (think amazon.com), but each item is processed individually. This means your initial order may not be for the whole $70. The balance will remain on the gift code so make sure you place as many orders as you need to to take full advantage of the $70.
