I’ve never claimed to understand the teenagers that walk among us. This doesn’t mean I haven’t tried. They would probably say, rather loudly, that I have tried to a fault and they would probably be right.
Somehow the site, Teens Today with Vanessa Van Petten, has found our little space here worthy of adding to their collection of 50 Best Dad Blogs. Don’t be ashamed, I was surprised too. The collection of sites here are among many that I’m afraid to comment on because I’m afraid I’ll bring the conversation down.
The Teens Today site may be just what I need to gain some leverage in understanding my own teenagers, let alone those of anyone else. The posts are all from the perspective of the younger class and the insights are many.
A sincere thanks to Vanessa and the interns that assisted, Juliette, 15, Rachel, 13 and Steve, 17.

That’s pretty cool, way to go. Keep up the great blogging!

Way to go and congrats! The best that I can figure is that we aren’t supposed to understand teens. They don’t understand themselves. We are here to tolerate them and help them find their way into maturity and adulthood. Hopefully with a lot of laughs to accompany the growing pains.
