I have a curse. Many times when I hear a catchy tune it will be stuck in my noggin for days on end. Many folks that travel in and out of my circle take great joy in abusing this fact.

Today this song from Noggin seems to be on repeat. Well, at least for me. Maybe now it will be for you as well.

Misery loves company. ;)

I think it’s funny how you pretend it’s not in your head already. You know it is!

Chuck, please seek the necessary medical attention: An Ice cold beer at the local saloon and watch some basketball!

Thank goodness my Son is a little too old for this, can you imagine singing it in stereo.
Sooner or later the youngest one is going to get hooked on these type of shows and I’ll be right there with you. I’ll count my blessings now.

WNYC’s Radiolab is supposed to cover this phenomenon (which they call an “earworm”) in this week’s show. I’m interested in learning more but afraid what songs they’ll use as illustrations.

Last earworm I saw was for Sulu in The Wrath of Khan. No thanks!

BZZZZZZT, Wrong Answer!

That was Pavel Chekhov who got the earworm, not Sulu.

Damn, I’m outed.

I feel your pain. My head is usually filled with any given number from The Little Einsteins. It actually keeps me up at night!

Well I was visiting your blog and decided to hit the play button. Big mistake. My two year old and I have been sitting here listening to your song from Noggin for about five minutes now. I figured I’d let you know that you passed along a little of your misery. Ha ha.

Another Dad in Michigan? I thought I was the only one.
Somehow I feel a bit more complete knowing you hit that play button and a happy two year old was able to play along. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
