		<description>I think the concern is that it doesn&#039;t matter how enlightened you are -- it only takes one person to misinterpret your actions in a way that _could_ ruin your life.

The other day, we were at a local park, and a young boy (maybe four or five) and his slightly older sister were walking toward the bathrooms at the same time as me.  The sister was trying to direct the brother into the right door and telling him to go to the bathroom in there by himself.  He obviously needed a little direction, and I wanted to provide it.  But then I realized how it may look.  &quot;Hey little boy, do you need help going to the bathroom?&quot;

I agree that we should give others the benefit of the doubt, but we should realize that others won&#039;t always do the same.</description>
